These paintings using tempera on paper were created in 1999 and there is not much to say about them. At that time paining for me represented going to store to buy paper, brushes, tempera and just paint.
Following paintings represent more serious and refined approach to visual art. Mostly using oil on canvas I painted them with a lot of care, attention to detail, using different reproductions from books as a guide. For the longest time I hid paintings in a closet not wanting people coming to our house to see them.
